my cousins got an x type nice car parts seem readily available, and fairly cheap on fleabay.

merc preety much bomb proof by all accounts.

cant think why you would want to trade down from a car with a huge foot print to a couple of roller skates :D im sure you would regret it.

What's your budget J?

Lexuses/Lexi always come near the top of customer satisfaction surveys. Have always liked the RX350 4x4 - LOTS of toys on them too.

MGF - sh1t

MR2 new shape, nice - had one at 130 round Oulton Park :D What about the Celica? Had that at 140 down the straight! V Nice!

X-Type is made in Liverpool - enough said! :16:

Go for the Focus ST, but make sure it's blue ..... and then Wolf it up!!

at the mo its looking like the st-3

with sat nav,touchscreen,bulit in dvd,bluetooth

electric heated seats, computer, all the normal great bits

its still only got a better 0=60 time of 0.4 of a sec over the trophy

but the st does like the nuts

been making some phone calls, found out can get leckie sunroof, dual aircon,etc..

i also think the blue one is nice with the st kit, with viper stripes

still has less power than the sw20 turbo :(

A friend just imported a Nissan Skyline (2.5) direct from Japan.....claimed to do 185mph! Load of bells & whistles and goes like stink. He got it really cheap too. You don't see many of them over here. Only problem is the Japanese radio....it only goes up to 89MHz soe he can only get radio 2 haha!

Go for the ST - Brilliant car. Superb performance, good handling, although ride is firm. I loved it, wife did not - 3 door looks much cooler than 5-door, but she didn't like having to keep getting in and out when dropping kids off/collecting them from wherever. Fuel consumption is in the same league as the VR6 galaxy - I managed a best of 31mpg on the long motorway run to/from work- about 320 miles per tank. (A Focus 1.6 manages 38mpg, my Galaxy does 45mpg on same trip/ same average speed). If you opt for the spare tyre, instead of the compressor/goo thing, you lose tons of boot space, as the boot floor is about 4" higher to accomodate the spare.

If you want usable performance with practical space, you won't regret it.

You HAVE to get the orange one, otherwise it looks like any other Focus at first glance.

George.

hi george

cheers m8

Don't have - have the occasional use of (perk of the job, developing cars) Was the ST-3 model, with the full heated leather. Has now got 11000 miles on it (06 plate) and is still as tight as a nut. Only real problem is it is far too easy to go ridiculously fast. Would definately be on my buy list if I didn't have to drive 40,000 miles a year. Brother in Law has an ST-2 and is already wanting to get another to replace this one when it is a year old.
